   The 11th Aegean Summer School in Visual Optics, this year will take place at the Aquila Rithymna Beach in Rethymno, Crete - Greece, from 26-28 June 2012.

5. First private school for dispensing optics in Turkey

   The Turkish Association of Optical and Optometric Professions (TAOOP) has announced the opening of a new private school in the country for dispensing optics.
