Swine influenza A/H1N1 infection
The Research and Academic Symposium scheduled for 16 – 17 May 2009 will take place as scheduled.
The situation continues to evolve rapidly. The European Academy will continue to closely monitor the situation and the health advice issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The WHO has advised no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness. For more information go to:
