Academy appoints new Trustees

Academy elections were held at the Academy Annual Conference in Prague and trustees were appointed in the following categories:
- Professor Holger Hanswolf Dietze (Beuth Hochschule fuer Technik Berlin, Germany) was elected in category three, individual educationalists.
- Dr Paul Murphy (Cardiff University, UK) was appointed President elect. He will serve a two year term.
- The Board also unanimously agreed that to co-opt Dr Ellen Svarverud from Buskerud University College, Norway, to fill Paul Murphy’s vacant trustee position (Category one – representative of a European educational institution).
The College of Optometrists provides the secretariat for EAOO
