Optometry in Practice

Optometry in Practice is the Continuing Education and Training (CET) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) journal of the College of Optometrists in the UK.

Launched in 1999, the journal is published four times a year. Articles are commissioned and provide authoritative reviews of key topics of practical relevance to optometrists in community and in hospital practice.  Articles are peer reviewed and well referenced.  OiP is a journal predominantly for optometrists, but some papers are also suitable for contact lens or dispensing opticians.

Although based on UK practice, most articles are relevant to optometrists across Europe. The journal has developed a reputation for high quality Continuing Education and Training which complements its association with the UK’s professional body.
