European Academy 2010 Copenhagen will bring together key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss and disseminate the latest research relating to optometry, optics and vision sciences.

 
The event will appeal to delegates with a diverse range of clinical, research and educational interests. Discussion will focus on a range of issues relating to current concerns for the Academy’s stakeholders including:

• education – ‘revalidation for health: continued fitness to practice for eye-health professionals’, will consider the issues and challenges relating to the developing requirements for revalidation and reaccreditation that face the Academy’s stakeholders as health-care professionals; and


• research –
‘paediatrics to geriatrics: research for all eye-ages’, will focus on research in relation to paediatric and geriatric eye health.

Although the above themes will be at the centre of the Academy event the extensive programme will  address a broad range of issues relating to eye health.

Who should attend?

This conference will be of interest to professionals and students from the fields of optometry, optics, vision science and other related areas of work. The Academy aims to provide a forum for networking and discussion in an environment which facilitates collaborations and partnerships.
