Optometry and optics professionals and students are being offered an exciting opportunity to attend workshops hosted by clinical experts at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) as part of our conference in April.

The workshops are:

  • Detection and management of lid margin disease, Caroline Christie, City University, UK
  • Fitting RGP scleral contact lenses on patients with distorted corneas, Philip Fine, Hadassah Academic College, Israel
  • Checking and dispensing prisms, Patricia Mordaunt, Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland
  • Optomap workshop, Anne Salmon, Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland
  • Slit lamp ophthalmoscopy, Dr Holger Dietze, Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin, University of Applied Sciences, Germany

These workshops will support the development of practical skills, enabling delegates to gain valuable experience and essential skills to implement in practice.

Bookings are being taken for the conference at the Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin, with tickets for the workshops starting at just €50.

The three-day conference, taking place from 20-22 April 2012, will also feature:
